Bronx Bomber's To Receive New Battery: Jorge Posada Announces Retirement!
On a personal note:
Lot's of luck to my favorite New York Yankee in his new ventures!
The NY 'battery' will never be the same or fun to watch for me.
Thanks for bringing so much loyalty and integrity to the game;
mostly for your philanthropy & humanity which you generously
embraced as you gave as much back to the community as the game of baseball
and all of its spoils gave to you!
You never forgot your roots along the way.
' So cool and admirable!

Dallas Cowboys: Playoff dilemma: Busted...Eli and the G-men "Cruz" over Romo and Co.
Last night's game against the Giants was nothing short of disappointing, appalling and heart-breaking.
Disappointing because Ryan and his D-line kept repeating the same plays with the same outcome...Eli and his O-team kept traipsing all over them. Ryan needs to consider the 4-3!
Appalling because our 'Boys were playing like this game was not significant and they did not want to be there so they never seemed to give their best. This applies more to the defense.
Heart-breaking because this team was good enough to do better, to have a better season. Good enough to get over that hump to finally beat the Giants and then to get into the play-offs and possibly into the Super Bowl. Yes, I believed Romo and Co. were that good this season.
That's my soapbox moment and all I am going to add is this...
If our 'Boys are going to have a chance at all at reaching a respectable "9-game win season" (or better) in 2012 and in order to reach the play-offs and maybe continue past round one and beyond, there are three simple things that need to occur in D-town in 2012.
1) Get wiser during the NFL draft and get "fresh meat" on the D-team...if Ryan seriously wants to stay with the 3-4, the franchise needs to go out and seek players who can execute it.
2) Re-evaluate the 3-4...no está funcionando (it is not working)...make sure the right players are at the ready for any type of defense. Ryan does not to be fired, but he needs to stop being stubborn and rethink things.
3) Go 4-3 with the D-team...start thinking defense as it was that part of the team who failed at the end of the season (3 losses) and sucked up all the team morale. Get a defense that compliments the offense. The offense is good - finally, but they cannot win games alone!
