AggieBlunders: Johnny Football: Rice Owls Ask: Johnny WHO (whoo)?!!

Someone forgot to tell the Rice Owls that this game was supposed
to be a complete blow-out by Johnny Football and
his Aggie (foolishly) faithful crew.
Rice was NOT even supposed to score a little bit or
as much as they did  during the first half.
Rice was especially NOT supposed to score at all
when Aggieland's prodigal son Johnny-boy
made his QB appearance in the second half...
BUT, RICE DID!
A definitive win for the Ag's but not so impressive.
Johnny and crew better learn some real defense if
they expect to be serious contenders in the SEC!

AggieBlunders: Johnny Football: A&M Antics The Same AS Their Nemesis In Austin: Aggies No Better Than The Longhorns!

At the end of the ole proverbial long day, the good ole Aggie administration (a.k.a. the "Good Ole Boy Network"), the school, the athletic programs, the fans, and the respective students (etc...get my drift) are no better than the University of Texas peeps.
Maybe they (A&M) are even worse.
As Aggie-nation bitched and complained about how much power and authority U.T. had over most universities in the Big XII, and they finally got their stupid-little-cry-baby-wish to move over into the SEC (sayonara and good riddance), their battle-cries and their stance gave way and the landmark that is Aggieland  (a.k.a. home of the 12th man) is looking rather shallow and downright stupid.
Yes, folks, these Aggies numb-skulls have always been second-best to U.T. when it was basically just those two back in the day that competed.  Lately A&M had real competition in Texas Tech which basically replaced the Aggies as the true rivals to the 'Horns of "Austin-tacious land"!
All the moaning and groaning that the Aggies made was in vain.  The actions they have taken or not taken against their little prodigal son, Johnny "Football" Manziel just goes to prove that A&M has as much money and power to get things to go their way.  Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that A&M went south-ward into the SEC to get away with this Manziel issue (the slap on the wrist castigation of a 30-minute first half suspension) because had they still been part of the Big XLL, this crap would not have washed.  Because the Big XII has honor and respect and ensures all respective schools have the same?  No, because as always, U.T. would have really dug into such allegations and made sure that Johnny and co (A&M) paid for any wrong-doings...they would have investigated like white on rice and led the NCAA into the proper direction.
The SEC may be the current home of the best football programs in the country and the strongest conference, but it is also the worst when it comes to doing things by the book.  Soon all schools in that shitty conference will succumb to their negative actions and will get what they deserve.  How is it that such a conference (that constantly gets into trouble or becomes suspect of doing something wrong) keeps their head up high when all they are are a bunch of criminals.
The Aggies sure picked a good home over with the SEC; criminals deserve to be with criminals.  Like Frida Kahlo said: "if you lie down with dogs, you should expect fleas!"!

AggieBlunders: Johnny Football: To Play OR NOT To Play! A Mere 30 Minute Suspension (whatever)!

Johnny-boy gets away with just a 30 minute suspension (click here for more).  In other words, a light slap on the ole wrist!  This is what money and power buys NCAA players these days, and it doesn't hurt that the 'Bama v/Aggie game may just have national championship implications surrounding it.  For sure the game has a need for high ratings, and the Vegas betting association(s) must be breathing easier tonight!
Maybe this is the beginning of allowing (NCAA) college players to be paid for their craft/talents since the NCAA and respective colleges/universities make tons of mula on the backs of these players.  Actually this Johnny Football issue could be the start of making payments to athletes legitimate because we all know many players get paid one way or another.  It wasn't said in vain that Shaq became a millionaire in college thus opted to leave early for the NBA!
